At the Invitation of the Jesuit Provincial of Dumka -Raiganj Province, We offered the services of the three of our Sisters to work in collaboration with the Jesuit fathers. Our missionary zeal and option for the poor urged us to accept the challenging mission of Deopur. which is backward in every way with neither electricity nor any other conveniences.

We were warmly welcomed on the 29thJune 2004 by the Bishop of Dumka, the Jesuit Provincial, priests, religious and a large number of faithful. The sisters are engaged in providing education and boarding facility for the tribal children who are sandals along with health services and socio pastoral work.
